2/3 Cup Country Basmati Rice
1 1/2 Tablespoons Rose water
4 1/2 Cups Milk
1/2 Cup Raisins
l Cup Whipping cream
3/4 Cup Sugar
Pine nuts, fried
6 Pods Cardamom
How to Prepare:
1. Wash and drain the rice.
2. In large non-stick saucepan, heat milk, rice, sugar, cardamom to boiling over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
3. Reduce heat to low; simmer 35- 40 minutes until thick and creamy, stirring occasionally.
4. Remove cardamom pods. Add rose water and raisins, cover and refrigerate 2 – 3 hours.
5. Whip cream until stiff peaks form. Fold whipped cream, half at a time into rice pudding. Sprinkle with nuts and raisins.
